Coached over 1500 games in nine different sports and finished with 3rd most varsity basketball wins in Xenia history - Won four Conference titles in Boys and Girls basketball along with two Girls golf titles highlighted by 13-0 golf team, 2020 -  An eight-time Conference or District Coach of the Year as well as 2009 SW Ohio Coach of the Year for Girls basketball - As an XHS athlete, named 1st Team All-WOL Golf in 1979 as well as 1st Team All-WOL Baseball in 1980 with a record 42 hits - Named as a 1980 Miami Valley Coaches All-Star

Co-Captain on the previously inducted 1969 Hall of Fame team - Two-year starter at OLB - Defensive MVP, 1969 - All-WOL 1st Team Defense - Ohio Southwest District Defensive Player of the Year - Associated Press All-Ohio 1st Team Defense - Football scholarship to the University of Kentucky - Served the Xenia community as President of the Wee Bucs youth football and cheerleading athletic association and as a member of the Xenia Recreation Board

At XHS, four-time All-WOL 1st Team and three-time All-Area 1st Team in soccer - Soccer MVP at XHS - Served as XHS Student Council President - At Coker College in South Carolina, named twice to 1st Team All-Carolina Virginia Athletic Conference in soccer and 3rd Team All-CVAC in cross country - As team leader in points, named the 2001 CVAC Freshman-of-the--Year - Earned Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati, 2011

The "Shark" middle linebacker on the 1964 Xenia Athletic Hall of Fame defense that had 6 shutouts and only gave up 4.3 points per game - 1st Team All-WOL - All-American Honorable Mention - 1st Team All-State - Co-MVP on 1964 WOL Champions - Played football at Ashland College - Taught and retired from Beavercreek HS where he coached football, gymnastics, and tennis - Athletic Director at BHS for 17 years - Became first AD in WOL to achieve Certified Athletic Administrator status - Inducted into Beavercreek Athletic Hall of Fame, 2012

Earned 9 Varsity letters and was a starter all 3 years in all three sports - All-MVL twice in football and All-MVL in basketball - Co-Captain in football as well as Co-Captain and MVP on the 1957-58 MVL Basketball Champions - Recipient of prestigious Rocky Thomas Award - Earned two Varsity football letters at Denison University - XHS Class VP for three years and XHS Student Council President in senior year - Served 40 years as Greene County Probate Judge as well as 20 years as Juvenile Court Judge - Inducted into XCS Foundation Hall of Honor as well as the recipient of the prestiious E.J. Nutter Award

At XHS, four-time MVP as well as four-time WOL Champion in the 100 Butterfly - Three-time OHSAA State qualifier and two-time OHSAA State placer in 100 Butterfly - Held XHS records in the 100 and 200 Butterfly, 200 and 500 Freestyle, 200 and 400 Individual Medley - With the Dayton Raiders Swim Club National Team, ranked nationally in 200 Butterfly - Excelled at the University of Cincinnati as a member of the four-time Conference USA Champions - Recipient of the 2001 Bearcat Award for swimming and classroom excellence

A supporter of XHS sports and multiple other school and community activities for over 55 years - Announced swim meets for 45 years - Received Chairman of the Year Award and Presidential Award of Honor from the Xenia Jaycees as well as having served on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce - Past President of Xenia Rotary and the YMCA - Recipient of Outstanding Senior Award in Greene County, 2018 - Upon graduation from Muskingum College in 1963, served with the National Guard until 1969 - Recipient of the Chamber of Commerce prestigious F.M. Torrence Award, 1984

At XHS, earned Varsity letters in four different sports - Set XHS records in 1600m, 3200m, and 5000m - At Cedarville University set records in 4x800, Distance Medley Relay, Mile, 3000m Steeplechase - 12-time All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference and a four-time NCAA D2 All-American - 3000m Steeplechase Naitonal Champion, 2017 - Set school records at Indiana University in the DMR and 3000m Steeplechase - Earned All-Big Ten honors twice as well as an NCAA D1 All-American - Professionally, a four-time USTAF finalist in the 3000m Steeplechase and a 4th place finish at the 2021 U.S. Olympic Trials - Team NIKE 2021-22 - U.S. Air Force World Class Athlete program, 2023 - Team USA-Pan American Games 2023

Top Rebounder and Most Improved Player on 1965 WOL Championship team - On 1966 WOL Championship team, selected as the MVP while earning 1st Team All-WOL honors - Received All-State Honorable Mention recognition, 1966 - 5th leading scorer, 18.2, in Greene County, 1966 - Received basketball scholarship to the University of Toledo - Earned his medical degree in pediatrics from The Ohio State University Medical School - Retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Army and became the Chief of Radiology during his service to our country

Earned eight XHS varsity letters - Played on a WOL Championship team in each of his varsity sports - MVP on 85-86 WOL Basketball Champions - All-WOL 2nd team in basketball and All-WOL Honorable Mention in football - Recipient of the prestigious XHS Rocky Thomas Scholarship - Three-year starter and letter winner as a WR at Wittenberg University, 1986-89 - Recipient of numerous awards and recognized for his civic duties and engagement throughout Montgomery county - Received his doctorate from the University of Dayton

Three-year football starter on two GWOC Champion teams - XHS MVP and two-time All-GWOC and All-Southwest Ohio - Selected to play in Big 33 Pennsylvania All-Star game as well as the Ohio North-South All-Star game - Four-year letterman and two-year starter at The Ohio State University while earning four Big Ten Championship rings and five sets of the famed "gold pants" for beating Michigan - Played in four BCS Bowl Championships including two National Championship games - Received MBA in Leadership and Corporate Strategy

Coached football for 35 years at the University of Dayton, 29 years as offensive coordinator - The first assistant coach in UD history to be inducted into the UD Athletic Hall of Fame, 2018 - On the UD staff that won four FCS and D-III National Championships as well as 11 Pioneer League Championships - His offenses were part of a record number of consecutive games for never being shut out, the longest in FCS history - His QB's set numerous passing records and won national recognition - Lettered in football and baseball at XHS and was MVP and Co-Captain at Earlham College as a senior

WOL Champions as well as Xenia Invitational Champions and the prestigious GMVWWA Holiday Tournament Champions - Record setting Championship performances in the District tournament as well as the Southwest Regional tournament to which 12 individuals advanced - Six individuals advanced on to the State Championships - Two wrestlers placed at State with Skip Smith finishing 3rd in the 119 lb. weight class and Rodney Stewart finishing 4th in the Unlimited weight class - Eventual two-time State Champion Monty Dagley was inducted into the initial Hall of Fame Class of 2011 as well as with his teammates Kenny Smith, Chris Caskey, and Deat LaCour being inducted with the 1985-86 OHSAA State Runner-up team in the Class of 2017 - Coach Steve Harris was inducted with the Class of 2015

President XHS Class of 1967 - Inducted into Xenia Community Schools Hall of Honor, 2007 - Presidential offices held in Xenia Chamber of Commerce, XCS Endowment Fund, Greene County Bar Association, Xenia Rotary Club as well as recipient of prestigious Chamber of Commerce F.M. Torrence Award - Trustee of the Doug Adams Trust which has contributed over $1.5 million to XCS for athletic purposes - Earned four-year ROTC Scholarship to Capital University and was Air Force active duty 1974-78

Awarded 11 Varsity letters at XHS - Named twice as WOL Lineman of the Year, 1994 and 1995 - Selected to represent Ohio in the Big 33 Football Classic vs. Pennsylvania - Selected to the South team for Ohio's annual North-South Classic All-Star game - Received All-State Honorable Mention recognition - Football scholarship to Michigan State University - High academic standards earned membership into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars as well as on the Dean's List at MSU - Past President of the Xenia Chamber of Commerce and the Xenia Rotary Club
