Two-time All-MVL and Honorable Mention All-State on 3-Time MVL champion teams and only undefeated team in XHS history. Four-year starter at Ohio University, MAC league champion, captain, MVP, All-MAC, NCAA Elite 8 team 1963-64. Elected to Ohio University Hall of Fame and the 63-64 Ohio U team was inducted into State Basketball Hall of Fame.

MVP 1982 and 1st Team basketball WOL 1981 and 1982, 1st Team All-Southwest Ohio and All-Ohio 2nd team 1982. WOL leading resbounder and honored as Ohio North-South All-Star. XHS record in high hurdles and hIgh jump and 6th at State in high jump 1982. St. Josephs College MVP 1986, Co-Captain and 6th leading career scorer.

XHS 1983-84 record 33-1, MVP 1984, Two-time WOL Champion, 1984 District Champion and 3rd in State 1984. Four yer letterman at Wright State U. Three time competitor in Nationals at WSU. All-American at WSU as junior while placing 4th nationally. Referred to as "most competitive wrestler ever" by Hall of Fame Coach Steve Harris.

Winningest football coach in XHS history with WOL Championship in 1985. Head football coach at XHS for 17 years. Also coached at East Clinton, Wilmington College, Bellbrook and Tecumseh. Four sport letter winner at XHS and All-MVL in football. Selected to Miami Valley Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2017 and Xenia Community Schools Hall of Honor in 2008.

Cross Country, Track
Team won Cross Country WOL championships in 1964 and 1965 seasons. Team qualified for the State Cross Country meet in 1965. Set league and district track records as an individual in the 2 Mile run at 9:56 and as a member of the 4x800 relay team. A District, Regional, and State qualifier in 1966 for the 2 Mile run.
Tom Hudson

Soccer
During 1980 and 1981 seasons, 1st Team All-WOL and All-Area. Set school record for goals in a season in 1980. Achieved All-State status in 1981 as well as setting record for career goals scored. Held career scoring record which stood for 32 years. Played soccer collegiately at Central State University and Wright State University.

XHS MVP 1973 and 1st Team All-WOL, All-Southwest Ohio, and 1st Team All-State. Nominated to North-South All-Stars and to Top 100 Prep All-Americans. Received scholarship to Ohio State University and performed as a 4-year letterman. OSU Team MVP 1977. Honorable Mention All-Big Ten 1977. Drafted by the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL.

An iconic figure for 35 years in the developoment of youth baseball. Instrumental in creating the Youth Recreation Club (YRC). The force behind the development of Evans Acres. Started, coached, and sponsored two teams to play for 20 years in the DABC .... the Dayton Amateur Baseball Club. "Peanut touched the lives of thousands of young people through his love of baseball."

Sporting goods retailer and philanthropist who generously served the needs of area schools. Instrumental in creating and serving as president for the Youth Recreation Club (YRC). Twice named Xenia Retailer of the Year and Outstanding Retailer of the Year by Nike Shoes. "John was a giving person without expecting much in return."

State Meet Qualifying Team
Xenia Cross Country teams dominated the Western Ohio League through 1964, 1965 and 1966 as Western Ohio League Champions. They were the 1965 District Champions as well as being undefeated in dual meets. Winner of the Lowell Thomas Invitational and the Jefferson Invitational. Qualified for the State meets in 1965 and 1966.
